It's that time of the season again when people are required to go out and vote for who will represent their interests. Problem with Muskoka is that people have to choose between voting for a representative for where they live or where they play.
Since Muskoka is where they play, few bother to drive hours in November to vote in Muskoka elections and therefore noone represents the people's interest. Those that tend to get elected are part of the ingrained corruption problem in Ontario and Muskoka is used to pilfer the public purse more often than most other places.
Let's not vote for incumbents this time around... Please...
